I used unsigned.com to discover an unsigned artist whose music suited the genre I had chosen- Indie.
Having found a few artists I began by contacting my first choice, Rachel Austin.
I ensured to mention how my project was for educational purposes only, and was non-profitable.
Hours later she had replied.
Thankfully she replied a second time with the final answer.
I now have written confirmation that I may use Rachel Austin's track 'Almost Beautiful' in my music video, and within the project to create a DigiPak and magazine advertisement.
